Okan Tower Is Shaping Downtown Miami's Skyline with Vision and Innovation

Miami's skyline is set to welcome a striking new addition with the forthcoming development of Okan Tower, a 70-story highrise at 555 North Miami Avenue. Developed by Okan Group, this ambitious project is poised to become a landmark in Downtown Miami, redefining the city's skyline and setting new standards for architectural excellence.

Upon completion in 2027, Okan Tower is expected to soar to a height of 902 feet, making it one of the tallest buildings in Miami. Its distinct architectural design, characterized by sleek lines and contemporary aesthetics, promises to contribute a defining feature to Miami's cityscape, symbolizing the city's vibrant and dynamic future.

The journey towards realizing Okan Tower's vision began with a monumental feat of engineering and construction. On Friday, March 29, at 9:00 PM, Jacob Companies, in a joint venture with Okan Construction, embarked on a continuous 36-hour concrete pour—an essential step in laying the foundation for this iconic skyscraper.

Over 12,000 cubic yards of concrete, weighing over 20 million pounds, were meticulously poured into the large foundation pit, measuring 234 by 140 feet and 14 feet deep. The Moore Group, a subcontractor, integrated 2,300 tons of high-strength reinforcing steel into the foundation, ensuring structural integrity and stability for years to come.

Behind this remarkable achievement stands Bekir Okan, Chairman of Okan Group, an international property magnate with a bold vision for Miami's future.
